Standard CSV Formatting & Sample Files
The Standard CSV import option allows you to import trades from a generic CSV file that you create yourself. This is the best way to import large amounts of data from exchanges that do not support automatic importing. Most exchanges (and wallets) will allow you to export a CSV with information about your trades/spends/income - you can then enter this data into a Standard CSV.
Each Tab (Trading, Income, Spending, Opening) has a specific format that must be followed to utilize the Standard CSV option. You can create your own CSV, following the instructions provided on each tab, or you can download one of the tab-specific, pre-filled files attached to this article.
Additional Information for Creating Your Own CSV:
Excel may automatically change the format of the date column if you reopen the file in Excel. If you are getting errors when uploading the CSV, format the date, and save it. Be sure to immediately import the file, before you open it in any other program (as this may revert your changes).
One of the best date formats to use in Excel is found in the English (U.K.) section of the Date format.
