The Trading Tab is the first place you should start - it's where you will import the majority of your data.

The Trading Tab will consist of all your cryptocurrency trades: your BUYS and SELLS.

Keep in mind, a "trade" can be viewed as both a "buy" and a "sell". For example, if you trade 1 BTC for 30 ETH, this can be visualized as either "SELL 1 BTC for 30 ETH" or "BUY 30 ETH with 1 BTC".

Automatic importing is convenient, and great for large sets of data. It can be done by connecting a read-only API or by uploading a CSV or XLSX file. 

If the exchange you use is not listed, you can still easily upload your data by using our Standard CSV upload option. You can find steps on how to use the Standard CSV upload option here.

Importing a trade manually is great if you only have a few trades to enter, or if the exchange you used is not supported. If it would take you more time to create a Standard CSV file for the trade/trades you want to enter, than it would take to enter them manually, it may be wise to use the manual import feature. 

The feature provides you with all the options that the automatic import would: symbol, currency used, fees, exchange name, and if its a BUY or SELL. You can see exactly how to do a manual import here.

The buttons at the top of the Trading Tab can help you filter your trades. If you want to view your trades from a specific exchange, date period, or for a certain symbol, you can utilize these filters.

Exchange- Using this button will only shows trades from the specific exchange you select in the drop down menu.

Symbol- This button will allow you to select a specific symbol from the drop down menu, and only show trades that contain the symbol. That includes if you bought, sold, or paid a fee with that specific symbol.

Date- The date button allows you to filter by month, quarter, or a custom time frame. 

Remove All- This button can be used on it's own, or in conjunction with the symbol and exchange filters. If no filters are set, this button can be used to remove all of your data in the Trading Tab. If the trades are filtered by symbol, you can remove all of that specific symbol's trading data. If the trades are filtered by exchange, you can remove all of that specific exchange's data. You will be prompted to confirm before your data is removed. 

Download CSV- This button will download a CSV file of all of the data on your Trading Tab. This can also be used in conjunction with the filters, to download only a specified subset of the data.

Options- This button provides you with a drop down menu that allows you to view additional columns in your trading table. The options are:

Show memo (shows any memos associated with a trade)
Show balances (shows a running balance of the associated symbols)
Show cost/proceeds (shows the cost or proceeds of a trade)

If you enabled one of those options a new column will appear on the right side of your trading table. You will need to enable any options you want each time you log in. 

Per Page- This button will allow you to choose how many trades you want listed per page. You can set it to 5, 10, 20, 50, or 100.
